I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sofra Turkish Grill, and I must say it stands out as one of the finest restaurants I’ve experienced in the Kent area. The service was exceptional, and the cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable. While I had hoped to share a group photo along with the dishes we enjoyed, I chose not to do so out of respect for the privacy of my companions. As someone who has reviewed numerous restaurants across the greater Seattle area, I strive to provide fair and accurate assessments. In this case, I was surprised by the King County Public Health rating assigned to Sofra Turkish Grill. Despite its outstanding food quality, hygiene, and customer service, the restaurant was rated merely “Okay,” which seems inconsistent with my firsthand experience. What I find particularly perplexing is the broader pattern in these ratings. I’ve observed several convenience stores and eateries with questionable food handling practices receiving “Excellent” ratings, while establishments like Sofra—clearly well-maintained and professionally operated—are ranked lower. During my visit, I found no issues that would justify such a rating. Moreover, the high volume of foot traffic at Sofra Turkish Grill suggests strong community trust and satisfaction, which further contradicts the posted inspection results. Unless the rating was based on criteria unrelated to the quality of food and service, it may warrant a closer review by the inspection team. For transparency, I’ve included a few photos of key areas within the restaurant that I personally captured, so others may form their own impressions. The Turkish food here is amazing. I am not Turkish but the tastes immediately reminded me of trips to Istanbul. Service is not super fast but they are super kind and everything was spotless. Prayer room available.

One of the best meals I've had in Washington. Everything was made to perfection and the service was great. Will definitely return! Update: Went back and it's was even better than the first. Definitely give this place a try! I'd vote 10 stars if it let me!

This is my second time at Sofra Restaurant, and I’m really impressed again. The service is great, the food is super delicious, and there are so many choices. The vibe of the place is really cool and unique. The bathrooms are clean, and the Salah room is such a nice addition. And once you finish your big meal, you can just relax with a pot of Turkish tea and some delicious sweets. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!

We had an amazing experience at Sofra Turkish Restaurant. The food was outstanding — especially the kebabs, which were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly. The staff were very kind and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. My family and I absolutely loved the environment and enjoyed every part of our visit. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Turkish food and a friendly dining experience. We will definitely be back!

The absolute BEST Turkish restaurant I have ever been too. The establishment is very clean, staff is very welcoming and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious with very large portions!! I absolutely recommend this place. I will definitely come back! Just wow!

Hello everyone, my name is Sabit and I visited this amazing restaurant with our Turkish Airlines team here at SeaTac airport. Honestly I would say I was surprised that we would be able to eat amazing food and feel like we are in Istanbul for a moment. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing and the food is the most delicious I have ever ate here at WA state and if we will talk about the staffff I would like to mention that I have never seen this type of great service, because it was not just good it was excellent!!!!!!!! I would also like seperately to mention about two waiters, one of them was Ukrainian and the other one not sure but she was so nice tooo 😂😂. They did amazing job by serving to our table and to other customers as well, I hope they are getting treated fair and nice, because their effort and commitment is just too great. I would totally love to see this restaurant and brand at other locations as well hopefully. If you will ask me a question, would I choose Sofra or other Turkish restaurant, I would say Sofra and I would like to give 10 out of 10 to this restaurant. I sincerely appreciate to the wonderful team for great hospitality and service and also I would love to appreciate to the owner of the restaurant Eldar Bey for supporting us during our visit. Thank you 🙏

Great place. First time, and loved it. Beautiful setup and friendly staff. Portions are pretty decent, actually more than I thought when I ordered. They have 2 menus. Same items but one with photos and one just words. Thought that was cool. Food was food. Meat was not dry and had good flavors. Overall, would recommend for a good date night or work lunch location 👍

Had an amazing experience at Sofra Turkish Restaurant. I ordered the lamb chops and they were absolutely delicious juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and flavors in every bite. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. Our food arrived at the table within about 15–20 minutes, which was impressive considering how fresh everything tasted. I also really appreciated that they have a prayer room available which is such a thoughtful and respectful touch. Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic Turkish food. I’ll definitely be coming back!
